Yisrael Campbell and Robert Pass, Dublin 2010

The Times of Yisrael is a new web series from the mind of comedian Yisrael Campbell. Yisrael was born Italian-Irish-Catholic in Philadelphia, but is now a practicing Orthodox Jew based in Jerusalem – and you aren’t going to find any other comedian with that world view.

He’s performed his critically acclaimed, hilarious, and touching autobiographical one-man show, “Circumcise Me,” off-broadway in New York City as well as all over the world.

You should know him also from famous  Jewish iPhone’ Ad.

The Times of Yisrael web series features what Yisrael does best – finding the funny about life and Judaism.

The web series is directed by Yisrael’s collaborator, Gary Rudoren, who is an alumni of Chicago’s Annoyance Theater and NYC’s Magnet Theater where he has written and directed many solo shows over the last 20 plus years.

The Times of Yisrael | Episode 3: Forgive me…
It’s the Jewish New Year and Yisrael is celebrating by begging Gary for forgiveness – and possibly trying to start a twitter fight with Jon Stewart.
