Social Media for the Jewish Non-Profit: A hands-on workshop for professionals and volunteers who wish to develop and/or enhance their Internet marketing skills.

The presentations will include strategies for increasing organizational membership and interest in programs, fund-raising, education, and more. The implications are significant: building community and relationships, strengthening institutions, creating interest among young people for opportunities in the Detroit area, and much more. (Bring your WiFi enabled laptop or tablet.)

Presenters include Julian Bond, Social Media Manager at Quicken Loans; Bryan Fenster, Online Content & Media Strategist at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit; Rabbi Jason Miller, prolific author on Judaism and technology and president of Access Computer Technology (Michigan); and Emily Weitz, Program Associate at Hillel Foundation, Wayne State University.

There is no charge, but as seating is very limited, reservations are required.
