The Jerusalem Post Ivrit application allows people with basic reading abilities in Hebrew to learn Hebrew without feeling the learning.
While reading current and interesting magazine content, the reader acquires new vocabulary, practicing proper construction of sentences and develops the skill of reading a newspaper in Hebrew.
Titles in English and French and glossaries of new words translated into English, French and transcripton – are attached to every section. They not only help the reader understanding the written text and correctly pronounce new words, but also ‘to jump’ beyond his or her level of Hebrew.
The Jerusalem Post Ivrit magazine gives the reader an attraction of text, image, color and sound spread over 36 pages and a variety of sections: news, personal stories of Hebrew learners, articles on the Hebrew language, serial story, museums reviews, acquaintance with Israeli songs and more.
The various sections are partially punctuated, and each of them is adapted and classified into one of three levels: beginner, intermediate or advanced.
All Hebrew learner – in Ulpan or Hebrew school, in Israel or abroad – will find in The Jerusalem Post Ivrit an interesting and enjoyable way to improve the ability to understand, read, write and speak Hebrew.
