Rabbi Ari Sytner delivers an entertaining and informative presentation named  “Judaism In The 21st Century: How The iPhone Is Changing The Way We Observe The Torah“.

Rabbi Ari Sytner is the spiritual leader of  Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue in Charleston,  South Carolina.  He “was born in Brooklyn and raised in upstate Monsey, New York, where he attended Yeshiva Shaarei Torah, under the dynamic leadership of  Rabbi Berel Wein.  Rabbi Sytner studied for two years in Yeshivat Mercaz Hatorah in Jerusalem and then received his B.A. in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

After receiving his Rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Wein, Rabbi and Chana Sytner relocated to Des Moines, Iowa where they were involved in outreach and education through the Des Moines community Kollel.   Rabbi Sytner then earned his Masters Degree in Educational Administration and served the Des Moines community for the next three years as the Senior Rabbi of Beth El Jacob Synagogue.”

Since June, 2004 he leads Brith Sholom Beth Israel Congregation.
