The second largest Jewish Film Festival in North America Toronto Jewish Film Festival turns 18 this year, with a whopping 93 films in all. In full swing from April 17th to the 25th, this year’s festival features gangsters, sumo wrestlers, history lessons, and more.

In other words, it’s a week-long celebration of the diversity of Jewish themes and identity.

TJFF hosts filmmakers and guests from all over the world, with an international programme from 18 countries and four continents.

The shorts, documentaries and features, a total of 93, hail from such disparate places as Israel, Argentina, Mexico, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Belgium, USA, France, UK, Hungary, Germany, Netherlands, and Poland.
