Hebrew Notes is the essential Hebrew-English note taking app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.
Hebrew Notes expands on iOS’s built-in right-to-left editing capabilities, by adding Hebrew vowel point entry with the unique ‘Nikud Toolbar’, that allows users to enter the appropriate vowel points that appear above and below the letters. This feature is especially helpful for students studying Biblical texts, who need to write Hebrew with accurate vowel point entry.
Using Hebrew Notes, one can write in either Hebrew or English as the primary language, while still writing text from the other language in ‘push’ mode. Hebrew text can be written with one of two different Hebrew fonts, and a variety of attractive background colors is available.
Hebrew Notes can even insert the correct Hebrew or English date into documents.
Hebrew Notes integrates with iCloud, so that users can work with the same documents on multiple devices at different times. Notes may be shared via email, Facebook, iMessage, or Twitter, and printed to Airprint-compatible printers. Files from other word processing programs may be exported in text format, and opened with Hebrew Notes.
Hebrew Notes is an ideal note-taking app for students, teachers and rabbis who need to write in Hebrew and English, and its ability to add Hebrew vowel points makes it unique and valuable for those that need to write pointed Hebrew text.
