An Israeli firm, 3DTVision, has come up with a way to create and display 3D content that does not require the viewer to wear 3D glasses.  According to David Ohayon the firm’s founder and CEO, the technique is similar to the 3D that requires glasses in that two images are displayed – one for each eye to see.

However, there is no need for the glasses: the human brain does the work of ‘deciding’ which eye sees which image.

The firm also makes laptops with screens that can toggle from 2D to 3D display – the first such laptop in the world, according to Ohayon.

3DTVision is an affiliate company of 3DTV ltd, the company was established in 2006. As pioneers in spatial imaging technology, 3DTVision provides the latest innovation in 3D display technology – the world’s highest quality auto stereoscopic (glasses-free) 3D displays, enabling the most accurate and precise 3D  glasses-free digital display solutions. 3DTVision offers a “Turn Key Solution” that includes hardware, software, content creation and content management solutions.
